Foreign Exchange Course
The Foreign Exchange Course discusses the concepts of the different products that are available in the financial markets to hedge currency risk. The course first describes the basics in Foreign Exchange products and terminology and then continues to discuss the most commonly used FX instruments to hedge FX risk, from FX forwards to FX options.
This course is aimed at (junior) staff who are responsible for the FX management within a company and concluding FX transactions. The course is also usefull for consultancy -and bank personnel who are advising companies in how to manage FX risk.
The course lasts two days and contains the following topics:

- FX Swaps

Day 2
• O/n and t/n swaps
• FX rates value today and value tomorrow
• Forward-forward swap
• FX swap applications
• FX Options
• ATM, ITM and OTM
• Intrinsic value and time value
• Introduction to Black & Scholes model
• Hedging with options

After having attended the course the attendants can take an exam. The exam has 30 multiplie choice questions.
